On June 23rd, my husband and I were slammed into by a drunk driver who was also street racing.
We have found that he has no insurance & is possibly an illegal. We have no information whatsoever on him, except his name.
Our insurance is covering our medical bills under our uninsured motorist.
My biggest question is, does my insurance company have to offer us a settlement for pain & suffering under our uninsured motorist or are we completly out of luck?
We have tried speaking with an attorney, but since we have nobody to really sue, they aren't interested in helping us.

check out your insurance policy's terms and conditions agreement. if there is any clause about such a situation, then talk with the co. if no such clause, then nohing much you can do.
