hi, My sister and daughter were struck from the rear by a truck during a trip to Canada. The car was completely crushed. The injuries were not life threatening. The driver of the truck had fallen asleep at the wheel and was charged with that. but after a year we cannot get them to even make a settlement offer. Can a lawsuit be filed against these companies and the driver in the court? Can anyone help?

Send them a registered return receipt letter expressing your displeasure with how long the settlement process is taking. also contact the BBB, the state insurance board, and your state attorney general.
