Hello friends, At a complete stop, I was rear ended at a stop light. The driver of the vehicle (not the owner or insured) was on a cell phone when she struck my truck. The other car is insured by the same company I also have my insurance with State Farm. The car owner himself exchanged information with me and I turned it in. The company siad that the actual person listed as the insured passed away and I am having difficulty recouping the funds. They now want me to pay for the repairs myself. What steps to take from here since both vehicles insured by same company?

I would advice you to put in the claim through your own policy. Pay your deductible and get the repairs done. When they are done investigating, the other policy will accept liability and you will get your deductible back.
