I need some advice from you as my wife was tricked into signing a 36 month contract with a business house. When signed the contract, the business only filled in the monthly payment information but not the start/stop date and total payment amount. My wife asked about cancellation and was told that we could stop the program if we had a "good reason."

Later on, we found that my child was not getting the exercise he needed from the class. So, we cancelled. But the business house provided me a phone number to call for cancellation. Calling we found that the so call "contract" was with a finance company. We filled out their cancellation form saying my wife signed the contract and was now pregnant but they rejected the reason. So, what can we do? can we get out of the contract?

The Health studio services act. Section 8-23-4, provision (4) states that "Provision that period over which the contract is financed shall not be for a period in excess of 24 months". The contract you signed is for 36 months which is in violation of the above section. Therefore your contract is invalid.
