Default ....not releasing the furniture?

Hello all,
I bought some furniture and the delivery date is to be determined. The company files for bankruptcy before delivery and is now going through liquidation. Now,the company is refusing to release the furniture to me. Please offer some useful advice? Thank you!

You can't point to a specific piece of furniture and say it's yours. When they filed for bankrupcy, all assets are highly controlled and you will end up waiting for the outcome. The set you supposedly bought may actually owned by a vendor of theirs who has filed for payment.
