i belong to a fraternal organization and there is a woman who has bad mouthed me. is there anything i can do legally to sue her? i dont even know her. she insists on telling people things about me that aren't even true.

cool down and just tell her that what she is saying is not true and is very damaging as well. then if it continues you must seek a legal remedy.
