Default ch 7 bk and home equity loan?

Hello all of you,
I wanna know if you can get rid of a home equity loan after filing chapter7 bankruptcy, while re-affirming your 1st mortgage and continuing to pay on it? Thanks in advance.

You might not get out of it since it is "secured" by your home. And it usually specifically has no homestead exemption. So you will not get clear title for your home to sell it until or unless you settle up completely.
