Default LienHolder

My boss paid for a motorcycle for me up front and put his name as the lien holder on the title. I have been payin him 250 dollors a week for the past 20 weeks. Now that Im over half paid on the debt he is telling me that he is just going to give me back the money and keep the bike. (we found out the bikle is worth more then we paid) The bike is taged in my name. So I quess my question is what are my rights..we never signed any contracts or have any thing in writing sayin how much i pay or how much i have paid.

Very difficult to make any commet as you don't have any written contract or so.....!! Don't you have any witness while making this verbal contract?

Yes i do have witness, I think i could get this in writing from him. If i were to tell him why he might not give me what i need. Saying that, what do i need in writing from him....

I was thinking of telling him that i was going to get a personal loan, and need a letter from him saying how much he loaned me and how much i have paid him. (i have never missed a payment). But i fear if i tell him why i want thins on paper it will cause him not to give it to me.

I guess i need to know what kind of information i need on paper.

Can a lien holder take just take what he has a lien against?

in 22 weeks i have made 21 payments.

I guess im just lost and dont know what to do

please help

Take in writing about what the boss said to you, what's his or her relation with you or your boss and so on. I would suggest you to consult with a local attorney with complete details.
