Hi all of you,
I ran a credit report and I had a couple returned checks show up. They have been turned over to two different collection agencies. This occured few years ago in a different state. No information received about these. Should I contact the collection agency and try to pay these off? Any advice provided will be greatly appreciated.

Just let them fall off your credit report. Once you pay, they will stay on there another 7 years.

You can pay the checks off and as a part of the deal for paying them, have the agency say in writting that they will remove it and make sure they do.
