My brother owns his own business and he gained all of his experience through a former friend. he sub contracted for this guy for few years before quitting due to increase in percentages in short time.
My brother has been applying to various big home improvement stores, which his friend already has accounts with. these stores contacted his friend for a reference check, and he had bad mouthed my brother, saying that he does not respect authority and is not a team player. is this a slander, what can he do about this?
