Hi everyone,
I want to know if someone posts things and receive messages on a public viewing place and leaves issues open to interpretation, can they then sue for defamation of character if someone reports the page to a family member and that family member based an opinion on what was seen on that webpage? They lied and deny it, even after proof was shown, can they still sue?

You need to use caution when making statements on a public forum more so if they are false. And, you can not sue if the information is TRUE!
