Default entrapment query?

Hi members,
Recently, I found an ad on a common bulletin board for the purchase of undisclosed schedule 1 medications. After contacting the poster via an anonymous email simply saying I was "interested," I received a PM back from them with the products and prices of those products available. Within their email it was stated that they were not police nor affilliated with any federal law enforcement agencies, but were located out of state and would gladly send me the medications needed.
So, being that I just responded to an ad for these products with a simple inquiry, the price list, quantities and identification of these products were provided in detail to me in response to my email without specific request. And finally the seller has on more than one occasion assured me he is not affiliated with any state, federal, or local law enforcement agnecy- is this grounds for entrapement if this goes wrong? Any idea?
Thank you.

Default Re: entrapment query?

Entrapment refers to when an officer coerces you into doing something you wouldn't have done on your own. By stating that you were interested on your own accord, you waived any such possibility. You responded to the ad without being pressured into it, and thus made the initial contact. The person saying they're not an officer does not magically make it entrapment.
