The rental office and the agreement states that in case of fire I will be responsible for damages. I got insurance for apartment but insurance agent told me that the Apartment Management cannot sue me in case of fire. Is Fire insurance available for Rental Apartment and would I be liable for any damages?

My advice will be to get a new insurance agent. If you cause a fire, the apartment complex most certainly can sue you for the damages. A renter's insurance will cover not only your belongings, but for any damage that you might cause.
