hi there, recently my son was involved in a physical alltercation in school with another boy as he was taunting my son for long. The school has suspended him for ten days. yesterday I received a summons for him, myself and my wife to appear and nothing is being done about the other boy. Is there a criminal charge such as provoking speech or gestures or something similar that this child can be charged with?

what responsibility does the school have for maintaining accountability and saftey of their children?

my suggestion will be to hire an attorney to defend him and to investigate and determine if any wrong doing has taken place by the school officials.
