hi everyone,
our apt has becomes infested with rats. they are chewing every thing that they found so causing alot of loss. contacted apt mgr and he sent over professional trapper but no rats have been caught.
we contacted health dept and they said they couldn't offer legal advice.
What is the landlords responsibility and who will pay for the total loss till date? how to handle total situation?
any advice appreciated!

Go to State Resources and go to Title 59 RCW Landlord and Tenant Chapter 59.18 Residential Landlord-Tenant Act to get the proper guidance.

Also call your State Dept. of Health Vector Control to conduct an inspection and write a violation notice.
