Default alot of trouble, plz help!

I purchased a old model car. i knew it was overheating, but dealer told me it was overheating because the radiator just needed to be flushed. I bought it, flushed the radiator but it still over heats. i towed the car to them, they said I must have blown the head gasket by driving it hot. the dealer told me I had to move the car because it was going to be towed. I finally got it sent somewhere to be fixed as the motor was blown. I just don't have the money to buy an engine for this car. so, is there anything I can do about this? Thanks.
