I worked for a company for over 17 years. few years ago, I had a heart attack, after recovering I came back to work. after that a while, i was on a business trip, i almost completely unable to breathe. I was then diagnosed with asthma, emphysema, etc. I have been totally disabled since and my company released me. my insurance company did provide me with Health Insurance for few months. but recently, I received a letter informing my insurance has been terminated. I now have no insurance and am a high risk applicant. plz help me!

by going out on permanent long term disability, your ability to keep your employee coverages was limited.
though I ve no idea about your insurance termination. contact the carrier, the Department of Insurance, and your ex-employer. if you are covered by SSD you can get Medicare.
