Default large bill for nothing?

hello guys,
i adimited myself due to tightness in chest and difficulty in breathing. the admitting doctor told me i may have suffered a heart attack and told me that i needed to admit myself to their cardiology department despite the fact that i had no medical insurance. After lot of expensive tests, they found nothing wrong. now i'm saddled with a large bill which i am unable to pay. Is there anything i can do ?
If anyone can please advise me. i would appreciate it.

hello there,
from your description any doctor has a reason to conduct expensive tests. also, no one forced you to stay. that doesn't sound like grounds for malpractice to me. so you have to pay to them.
