Hi people,
I purchase and resell items on eBay. a seller contact me privately to sell me All Clad sets offline at a better price. He was true to his word and I always got them. later on, one shipment was damaged by UPS and returned to the seller, which he never made good on and then two other shipments never arrived. he still says: "he is working on them". after sometime, I purchased again through eBay with little more protection. but it happened again. One was damaged through UPS, sent back to the seller and he hasn't made good on it. What, if anything, can I do about it?

I don't see that there's much that can be done since your purchases were made outside of eBay. As for the ones you made afterwards on eBay, I don't see much chance in getting your money back, but you can always notify eBay to make them aware.

Sue him in small claims court. but you can't recover the costs of flying out to NY for the lawsuit.
