hi everyone there,
my friend told me that it is neccessary to post a "beware of dog" sign on a yard with any dog in it as any person, trespassing or not, who should be injured by the dog could sue. Am I indeed liable for injury, due to a dog or any other feature, to a person entering my property without permision?
plz give your suggestions. thankz for any suggestion in advance!

it's somewhat helpful to have such a sign, but it's not a complete defense in the event of a dog bite.
First, there's always children.
Second, there are certain people allowed on your property by "right"; e.g., utilities, mail, firemen, police, etc.
thirdly, salesperson, next-door neighbor, etc.

It would be helpful to have a sign. It would make a case a lot easier for you if your dog did happen to bite someome. I really don't see why its such a big deal.
