we settled a wrongful death suit with a doctor's insurance company. We have had a lawyer handling the case and few months ago we came to knew from him as to what our final distribution would be. and now we came to know now that the doctor's attorney had lost the paperwork. Can we impose a penalty to the doctors insurance company for not paying in time?
