Default changing name of deed?

hello,
My aunt had a friend who visited her. Her friend tripped going down part of a step that was uneven. There was a railing by the way. Prior to any suit being filed, if my aunt put her daughters name on the deed to the house either as owner or co-owner, as well as her bank account, making her daughter the primary account holder, would the suit affect these assets?
Thanks for any help!

No, adding daughters name wouldn't change anything as it would still be your aunt's assets. Taking her name off completely would be hiding assets and be found out.
