My friend was involved in an auto accident that was settled couple of years back. She had a back injury and is now being followed by a private investigator. Could the people awarding her a settlement trying to prove now that she does not have an injury as bad as she said it was. Are they trying to prove fraud on her part? Can they do this?

Ofcourse it is possible and it could also be for something else. I think it would be a little odd that they would do this so late.
