Hi people,
In the month of March, I fell down the stairs at the building where I volunteer and injured my elbow. I undergone a surgery to remove a broken bone but still recovering and my arm is not 100% yet.The insurance adjusters denied my claim, after they determined that their client was not at fault. I am wondering if I do have any grounds to pursue this further?

The insurance adjuster is not the final word. You should have an attorney to review if there are any negligence on the part of the owner of the building and check with the city planning for any building code violation/non-compliance. Also, as a volunteer, whether you are covered under worker's compensation laws or not.
