Question Let's Make A Deal Ya/Na

Peace To The GODS, Peace To The Earths,

Well I've been reading over A lot of forums and I must say that this system is corrupt and is all about money. I mean how is it that a person can go to jail serve their time and come out in dept to the very system that did more damage than rehabilitation.

Now, what brings me here is my wife turned herself in to Philadelphia county. Totally negating the 10yr old probation/warrant for not checking in from one of the surrounding counties. So I guess you know the rest. They came and got her. And have had her since the beggining of Dec.
The reason I'm writing is because the probation officer has offered her a deal. The deal being, do two more months and get time served and no court fees. Or if she goes before the judge the PO will ask for six more months. What really bugs me is that this is her first Prob. Violation. The case for Philadelphia is pending and therefore she hasn't been found guilty. See my wife has been under the impression that she would get time served for this is custumary for first time prob. offenders.

What I'd like to know is how in the world are they trying to make her serve time for a crime that she hasn't been found guilty of and what do you guys think about the deal. And more than that what should I tell my wife to do when she goes back to court. She proballey pissed everybody of by not giving them a decision on the spot.

Thanks in Advance.

P.S. Seriously considering moving to Canada
