Default how to get evidence?

Hello friends,
Recently my car was hit in the parking lot and there are 4 cameras. The security department is not ready to give me a copy of the digital video. Filed a police report, but heard nothing from them. So, how do I get the video as evidence in a small claims trial or in order to determine on my own who hit my car?
Thanks.

Spoke to the owners or managers of the store or location that is under surveillance. You could offer to pay the cost to duplicate the tape and explain you only need the portion dealing with your car. Also, suggest a security officer could review the tape and give only the portions needed. Hope it works for you.
