Default brother sold my things!!!

Hello people,
I went back to my parent's home to pick up my belongings with a estimated value of up to $15,000 but I find my unemployed brother had pawned all of it and he thinks he's getting away with it. Should i go to small claim courts? Will i get some respite there?
Thankz for any response.

You have to prove that they existed, that you bought them, and he sold them, and that you did not abandon him at your parent's house. Try consulting with an attorney.
