a little ago, xy ex-boyfriend and I broke up after living together for months and he owes me approx. $5,000 for expenses that I paid for him. he's been saying he'll pay it, but so far no result. Should I sue him for the money? also, can I sue him in case I move to a different state?

of course you can sue him but you can only sue him in the State where the agreements occurred.
