Default change of policies?

Hello there,
My employer just "Handed Down" a new mandate that Associate Producers only get 14 days vacation per year instead of 1 month that we had prior. If a salary was negotiated with certain policies still in play, then revoked, is there some labor law being violated? Is there not some sort of reasonable notification or compensation required?
Help please!

Unless you have a written employment contract, the employer is free to change the conditions of employment at anytime. But, if you accrued vacation time prior to the switch, you need to either be able to keep that time or get paid for that time.
