I received a ticket for not using my turn signal. I was pulling into a parking space on the right from my lane on a two lane road. As I was turning, someone tried to pass me on the right and hit my car. The officer that issued the ticket was not present at the time, and issued a ticket.

its not fair to issue a ticket for not using signal to turn into a parking space when I was being passed in two lanes of traffic. Any help anyone could give me would be great. Thanks in advance.

hi, firstly, you were at fault as if you were turning you should have put on a signal. But secondly, why was someone passing you on the wrong side, unless you were in a left lane. i think you both were at the fault.
