hi all, i was detained for concealing merchandise, never got a chance to pay for the merchandise and never left the store. i was detained and let go. later, during a job doing a criminal background check i was informed that i had an outstanding warrant. According to court records i missed my court date so i was charged with theft and forgery. i can't afford an attorney. What do you suggest?

hire an attorney, and see what the prosecutor will offer to close out the file.
Some attorneys will take credit cards. In the alternative, borrow the money from a friend or relative.
