i have a warrant for passing bad checks as my wife took the money out of the account and i couldnt cover them. i was told they came to my old home to look for me. it has been few years since the date the charges were filed against me. i wanted to know are the warrants still legal? is there a statute of limitations for felony utterance?

if the prosecution is deemed to have started when the warrant was issued, so it is unlikey that you have a statute of limitations issue.
