Default statue on felony?

hello there,
a little back, I gave a girl a ride to the check cashing place as she merely asked. While she was in there, the police came and arrested her. but she said it was me who had forged a check that she was trying to cash. The detectives asked me to do a hand writing analysis. but I eventually forgot about it and now 10-12 years later I got a call from my DHS worker and he said I popped up as a felony fugitive fleeing from Washington.
I called and found the warrant is active and there is no statute on felony warrants. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

it will depend upon the prosecutor's attitude, and perhaps what happened in relation to the prosecution of the other individual.
