about a decade ago, i was charged with with few counts. but was bailed out and never heard about the court date again. couple of years later, i was arrested for domestic violence for few months. i was in and out of jail for a specific period then sentenced until i was released again. warrent was never imposed. now, i have fixed up my life then all of a sudden when trying to fix my driving record this old warrant popped up and i bailed out. not sure if i can still be indited or will it stay in miniciple court. what do you think? please reply.

try to consult a criminal defense lawyer to find if you were entitled to be charged with the offense while you were previously in custody, and if you can get a good plea deal to the old charges on the basis of some sort of claim that you should have been able to take advantage of concurrent sentencing during your prior jail time, and (3) if the evidence in relation to the charges is still available, given the passage of time, and if not what that means in relation to the viability of the prosecution.
