hi,
me and a friend where pulled over for passing a state trooper with blue lights on. he ended up searching our car and my pockets personally. i was the passanger and there was nothing in the car to bring suspition. later to be taken to jail and left in a room with no facilities and told to stay in the chair and not get up for about 8 hrs..he found pills in my pocket that were my friends perscription and is charging me with controled sub. was the search of me and the car legal and is this worth fighting? Concidering that I am a female and he was a male officer.

they have the right to stop anyone anywhere if they found anything suspicious. however, putting u in jail is something out of mind. anyway you can consult ur case with ur attorney, may be he has some point to raise.
