Default appealing to high court

Hello friends,
Here is my case: I have a simple divorce, no kids, no debt, signed separation agreement. Then. taken to small claims court for marital debt but lost. Again appealed but again lost because ex said he did not know what no debt owed meant, though he has master's degree. can I appeal to a higher court without counsel?
Thanks.

Oh sure, you can appeal without counsel but need to show that the lower court's action is directly applicable, and opposite the other court action. You will also need to show that small claims court is inferior to the other court.
