hello all, My sister was arrested for a crime. court has appointed a lawyer for her but he has not gathered any evidence in the case and has not met with her again. she was worrying as she might lose her case. Does she have the right to request a new court appointed lawyer, as this one is not doing anything to help her?

You can ask for another one but for that you need to give the proof of your attorney's negligence. anyway, contact a local legal aid foundation.
