Default injured at work!

hi all, i was injured and was fired by employer. after about 4 weeks got workers comp case and insurance company to pay medical expenses.
then went to AME QMA and told to go back to work. while there is pain and lack of motion, as a carpenter it is very dificult to perform satisfactory without causing more pain and damage it seems.
Any advice on what to do and any options?
