My son lost several months of work due to the injury and received no compensation. His medical bills paid by his personal insurance, minus the deductables that he paid. He is due for major back surgery soon and will be out of work for few months. His lawyer is so laid back and nothing is being done to help my son. The Commissioner was contacted and their hands are tied because he has an attorney. What can be done?

It looks as if the injury has been denied as a work comp injury. This may be the reason that he has not been paid and the medical insurance is coverning his medical procedures. If the injury has been denied your son will probably need to file a lawsuit to protect his interest.

this is not good, i guess you should consult a attorney and take a legal action. your son has rights to the Workers compensation.
